Must Watch: Sanchez’s Extraordinary Pass That Even Overshadows His Brace vs Bournemouth

Alexis Sanchez once again proved the match-winner for Arsenal as the Gunners secured a crucial three points against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Chilean striker added two more goals to his tally for the season – scoring the opener before putting the game beyond the visitors with Arsenal’s third goal late on.

As has often been the case this season, Sanchez was a huge factor as Arsenal extended their unbeaten run. And it wasn’t just his goalscoring ability that left fans at the Emirates in awe on Sunday afternoon. Scroll down to see one of the passes of the season so far.

Sanchez’s two goals – his ninth and 10th in an impressive campaign so far – were invaluable as the Gunners kept pace with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

However, with one coming from a horrible mistake from Bournemouth’s Steve Cook and the other a simple tap in from an Olivier Giroud assist, neither will make it into a Sanchez highlight reel anytime soon.

What should do, however, was a sensational outside of the foot pass the 27-year-old produced in the second half.

Vision, technique and a real touch of class were on show as Sanchez effortlessly curled the ball into the path of Giroud during one of Arsenal’s many counter attacks.

When you’ve got players like Mesut Ozil as teammates there is obviously quite a lot of competition when it comes to producing the pass of the match.

Sanchez’s effort – even though it didn’t end up as an assist – must surely have won this round, however.

The moment of magic only adds to what has been a great season for the Chile star so far.

Although he has had to deal with speculation about injuries on international duty, as well as adjusting to a new role up top for the Gunners, Sanchez has been a pivotal part of Arsenal’s impressive run of form.

Unbeaten since their opening day defeat to Liverpool, Arsene Wenger’s men are once again genuine title contenders as we near December.

However, as we’ve seen in the past, Sanchez and his teammates have had a tendency to drop off in the new year. Gunners will be hoping that isn’t the case this time around.
