Brazilian and Barcelona star forward Neymar has hit out at Brazil boss Carlos Dunga after being benched for the Seleção’s win over Costa Rica.

Hulk scored the only goal of the game after 10 minutes Brazil labored to victory against Paulo Wanchope’s side.

But Barcelona star Neymar was forced to start the game in the dugout after only recently recovering from mumps.

The 23-year-old was eventually brought on late in the game, but it wasn’t enough to please him.

And Neymar fired a warning at manager Dunga, insisting he expected to start every match possible.

“Being benched is not something I’m used to and I’m not willing to get used to it,” Neymar told ESPN.

“I want to play and I’m always working to be amongst the starting XI.”

Neymar, at the age of 23, has 63 caps for Brazilian senior team and scored 43 goals and the fifth top goal scored for the Selecao after Pele, Ronaldo, Romario and Zico. He is also the captain of Brazil and it’s natural from him to expect start every match.

Veteran Kaka also made his return to the national team, appearing for the first time since October as a second-half substitute.
