Predicting the trends for top teams at Euro 2016

Euro 2016 is just around the corner and while all the top Online Sportsbook are dwelling to find out the prospective trends who would come out as the winner, we decided to do something different and predicting the trends for top teams at Euro 2016 this summer.

Spain – It is strange to see the Spanish side being the least talked about amongst the top teams. Vicente Del Bosque could be taking charge of his last major competition with Spain and would want to bow out on a high.

We believe Spain will outscore most of their opponents this summer and will give youth more opportunities that their proven stars. Alvaro Morata will be a revelation and so will the likes of Koke, Isco and Saul Niguez.

England – Once again the media has hyped them so much that if they bow out early, it would seem like the biggest failure in modern football. However, England for once would come good and at least move in to the last four of the competition. Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy will be on fire and Wayne Rooney will earn a lot of plaudits in his new midfield role.

Germany – They will do what they have always done, score goals and win football matches. Their only concern is to find a proper goal scorer, which should and eventually would come from Thomas Muller. Marco Reus and Mario Gotze will have a big say in the tournament as well.

Belgium – The Red Devils were one of the pre-tournament favorites, however, defensive injuries have taken a toll on them and I expect them to struggle at the Euro 2016 and come home with a quarter final appearance.

Italy – This is one team which can surprise everyone. I do not seem to understand it as to why people rate them so low given their record in the major tournaments. Even though they will be without Claudio Marchisio and Marco Veratti, Italians would be one of the strongest teams in the competition largely due to their defense and Antonio Conte.

Portugal – Watch out for this bunch as I full expect them to set Euro 2016 on fire by allowing youngsters like Renato Sanchez, Andre Gomes, Rafa Silva and others to shine on the biggest stage and take their game to the next level. With Cristiano Ronaldo in attack, Portugal will be one of the dark horses at this summer’s European Championship.
