Same day but a very different type of results for Manchester United and Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s men thrashed Huddersfield Town 6-1 while Jose Mourinho’s men suffered a shocked defeat against Brighton in the second week of the Premier League 2018/19.

Sergio Aguero’s hattrick and goals from David Silva and Gabriel Jesus wasn’t enough for Huddersfield to take. An own goal from Aguer and Kongolo made it even worse for the away side as they suffered an embarrassing 6-1 defeat.
Aguero scored City’s first, third and fifth goals. While, Gabriel Jesus and David Silva, on his 250th Premier League appearance scored in 31st and 48th minute respectively. City have now scored 104 goals in 39 games at home under Guardiola in the Premier League. Stankovic scored a consolation goal for Huddersfield before the second half. The defending champions have started off their campaign with two wins in a row.
Brighton vs Manchester United
Brighton have stunned Manchester United with a 3-2 victory at the Amex Stadium. Mourinho’s men have suffered a shocking blow in the early stage of the Premier League.
Goals from Glenn Murray, Shane Duffy and Pascal Gross in the first half gave Brighton a solid start. Romelu Lukaku pulled one back before the second half and the skipper Paul Pogba converted a penalty. But in the end, nothing could save United from losing three vital points. With this defeat, Manchester City have already stolen a march on their neighbours in the title race.
Burnley vs Watford
Watford have earned a vital three points away from home after beating Burnley 3-1. The match started in the most thrilling way possible.
Watford’s Andre Grey opened the goal account in under 4 minutes and Tarkowski equalized for Burnley just after 3 minutes. But in the second half, Watford scored two goals in the space of just 3 minutes to make the job done for Watford. Goals from Deeney in the 48th minute and Hughes in the 51st minute sealed the three points for the away side.
