Real Madrid might just have dropped the biggest hint in their prolonged pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spaniard, who is Los Blancos’ number one target his summer, has been subject of rife speculation, and the saga is looks likely to end, with Madrid setting up a presentation platform at Santiago Bernabeau and closing the stadium for tours on Friday.

The Red Devils though, are still reluctant to let their player of the year swap Spain for England. The Spanish capital side tried to test United’s resolve by reportedly starting the bidding for the former Atletico Madrid man at £13million, but Louis van Gaal’s charges won’t budge from their valuation of the 24-year-old, and are ready to play hardball with Los Blancos.

De Gea joined the Old Tarfford side for a British record fee of £17.8 million for a goalkeeper, and will try and recoup most of it for the player who enters his last year of the contract.

And given Manchester United’s unwillingness, Real Madrid could possibly unveil their first summer acquisition in FC Porto right-back Danilo, who was signed in March.
