Manchester City will be looking to win their first Premier league away fixture in almost three months when they face Stock City today. The League toppers haven’t won an away fixture since defeating Crystal Palace on 12th September. Despite Aguero’s absence David Silva’s return from injury was a huge boost for the Citizens. The Spaniard featured as a substitute in the win against Southampton last weekend and again started in the win over Hull City in the Capital One Cup.

Ryan Shawcross, the Stoke skipper should be a welcomed back by Mark Hughes following his side’s shock defeat to Sunderland last weekend. Manuel Pellegrini will be without the lethal presence of Sergio Agüero and many other first-eleven regulars. Hughes must be planning an upset today, but Manchester City still have a hand full of attacking riches which could destroy Stoke, But the absence of Vincent Kompany might affect the City defence.
