One of the biggest stories of the summer is coming from Manchester United and it looks like an end to the story is not anywhere near.
French starlet Paul Pogba, who was left to leave Old Trafford a few years ago is now on the radar of the club who are ready to pay insane money for his signature.
It was revealed that Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of the 23-year old who helped France to the finals of the EURO16 recently. And with Pogba also excited to work under the Portuguese, it was understood that the history between the player and the club will not hinder a potential move this summer.
It all looked set for Manchester United to snap up a record-breaking £100m deal which would make the squad at Old Trafford one of the strongest in Europe.
However, over the last few days, no new advancement has been seen in the story and it is now revealed why the move has hit a snag recently.
However, the Italian club is not willing to forego a dime of the world record fee and is not ready to accept anything less than the £100m, the value of the player.
A new report also suggested that the French star had a medical booked in with Dr. Italo Linfante of the Miami Cardic and Vascular Institute which is now postponed till the agent’s payment is sorted out between the two clubs.
It is also understood that Pogba, who is currently in Miami enjoying his holidays will not take a decision till he is back but it is revealed that Mino Raiola met the player yesterday in the United States.
However, there was no news regarding the transfer and it looks like the move will only go through once Paul Pogba is back with his club in Italy.
The demands from the agent may be too harsh, but if that is what is stopping the midfielders move to United, Mourinho should make sure that he sorts it out before the whole move cools down completely.
