Manchester City star striker Sergio Aguero has revealed that he is eyeing 13th November to make a come back to action from injury.
The Argentine star striker Sergio Aguero who picked an injury during Argentina’s surprising 2-0 defeat to Ecuador in World Cup qualifier last week had earlier revealed that he will not be available for at least a month. That came as a big blow for Manchester City.
Medical reports suggested that Aguero has got a grade two muscle tear in his left thigh just after half an hour mark during Argentina’s first South American qualifier for the 2018 World Cup played at the River Plate stadium on last Thursday. He was stretchered off with agonising pain.
On October 25th, City will take on rivals Manchester United, along with champions league matches against Sevilla on October 21 and November 3.
Telam quoted the Argentine striker: “Hopefully I can play against Brazil, but I must heal the injury slowly so that it does suffer more. This is an injury that you have to recover slowly from, but of course I want to recover quickly.”
Perhaps that is an optimistic outlook for the CItyzens as Aguero himself explained how things need to be taken slowly, to make sure there are no further issues in the future.
Another star Manchester City player David Silva too has been ruled out due to a gruelling injury while playing for Spain in the midweek. The two most important players of the league leaders will be missing for the club in the big game against Manchester United.
Sergio Aguero is currently second in the list of top scorers with 5 goals. He single-handedly demolished Newcastle United in the last Premier League game as he score 5 in the club’s 6-1 win.
Manchester City fans will eagerly wait for 13th November as their star will be back in action.
