Liverpool have been a busy club this summer with German manager Jurgen Klopp managing to add a number of players to his squad ahead of the next season.

The likes of Sadio Mane, Marko Grujic, Joel Matip and Loris Karius are all set to play huge roles at the club next season and the manager will hope that they can help him to a successful league campaign this season.

However, with less than 2 weeks left for the transfer market to close, the Reds will have to let go of players who are not a part of his plan next season and one such player who will be out of the club come the 1st of September is Italian misfit Mario Balotelli.

Having burst into the scene as an exciting yet arrogant talent, Balotelli has stuck with the latter description and has not been able to find a place in any of the top European clubs.

He moved to Liverpool a couple of years ago and was loaned out to AC Milan last summer after a disastrous debut season at Anfield. However, he was not good enough for the Italian giants to renew his loan deal and Liverpool are now stuck with him trying vigorously to off load him.

Turkish giants Besiktas were reportedly interested in his signature but a deal fell through when it was revealed that they are not ready to meet his wage requirements.

But Liverpool have not given up on shipping him away and are now reportedly close to selling him this summer.

According to recent reports from the Sun, the Liverpool outcast may now make a move to the Football League ahead of the next season.

It is now reported that England’s lower tier outfit Wolves and Port Vale are pondering over a move for the Italian this summer.

Though his wages will still be a hindrance, it is understood that Balotelli is happy to drop into the Football League to prove himself once again and that he happy to stay in England for another year.

However, it is to be seen if either clubs are ready to pay a transfer price for the striker or if they want him on a loan deal.

It is also said that Balotelli’s meet with Jose Mourinho has given rise to these rumors which may be the only way out for the Italian this summer.

Do you think Balotelli will move to the Football League this summer?
