Liverpool have had the perfect start to their Premier League campaign this season with a victory over the Gunners at the Emirates in the first game of the season.

The likes of Phillipe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, and Adam Lallana were all on target as Liverpool managed to register their first victory at the Emirates in some time now.

That will make the manager happy looking at the amount of quality and depth his attack has ahead of the domestic season.

However, he will have to get rid of some deadwood at the club to reduce the wage burden of the club next season.

And one such player who has been told that he has no place at the club next season is Belgian misfit Christian Benteke.

The former Aston Villa man moved to Liverpool last summer in a £32.5m deal and was not able to impress the new manager at the club.

He managed to score 11 goals in all competitions for Liverpool but his playing style is in such stark contrast to the manager that he is ready to offload him without even giving him a chance in the pre-season.

There were a number of clubs interested in his signature but Premier League outfit Crystal Palace were ready to swoop for him this summer. It was revealed that Liverpool rejected Palace’s £30.5m bid that included a payment of £23.5m at the beginning with the rest £7m paid as an add-on.

However, Liverpool were not happy with the add-on clauses and were not ready to sell the player to Pardew’s side who are reportedly also looking to increase the bid.

But with Liverpool adamant to recover as much of the £32.5m they paid for Benteke, Palace may just have been priced out like many clubs earlier this summer.

It is now revealed that the Belgian may have another shot at resurrecting his career but in Turkey.

Earlier this summer, Turkish giants Besiktas were ready to swoop for Benteke in a deal that was not good enough for the English outfit.

However, the Turkish outfit are said to be desperate for a striker this summer and are reportedly ready to make another offer for the Belgian.

According to a report from Lig TV, a Turkish news outfit, Besiktas are ready to pay Liverpool a sum of £3m for the services of Benteke on a year-long loan this summer.

This will come as a blow to Crystal Palace who are plotting another bid for the player but it is to be seen if the terms of the loan deal are acceptable for Liverpool.

Do you think Liverpool should sell Benteke on loan to Besiktas this summer?
