English giants Chelsea are currently targeting former United and Real Madrid player, Javier Hernandez. Chicharito, who has been enjoying his time at the German club, Bayer Leverkusen has been rumoured to be Mourinho’s sweet target. The Blues’ performance is getting miserable match by match as they’re currently 16th on the PL standings.
Buying Radamel Falcao after his Red Devils spell went in vain as the former Monaco player failed to succeed at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are struggling to defend their title and things are definitely not going their way. Diego Costa too hasn’t been of any use to the club as he failed to find the net in his recent matches. The Blues are therefore looking for a goal machine in the form of Chicharito and are trying to seal the deal with the Mexican.
Chelsea aim to bid soon and as per sources, Hernandez will cost them around £8.5 million.
But, the deal doesn’t seem imminent for two reasons, firstly Chicharito is having a great spell at Germany and wouldn’t want to leave the club at this prosperous time. Secondly, even if Chicha plans a move back to the Premier League, joining United’s rival club Chelsea is something he wouldn’t really reckon doing.
We can only wait for Chelsea to bid for the super sub and see how things go ahead.
