Arsenal is one club which has always been prone to injuries.
The club from North London often becomes a victim to untimely injuries which affects their performance drastically. The Gunners majorly lead the table rankings until January because post-January the injury crisis hits them hard.
You may term this as their ill fate, but the English club has faced most of the injuries in the Premier League, probably. And once again, this season too, the club has fallen prey to the injuries.
As per current reports, Arsenal’s star striker Alexis Sanchez is out for a month following his hamstring problem. This keeps him away for a long time and Mr. Wenger is looking out to fill up his place. The Arsenal boss is keen on reinforcing attacking options in the second half of the league.
Arsenal are planning an offer for Manchester City’s Jesus Navas in January, according to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb.
The motive behind signing Navas could be to use him as an option in the place of the attacking players who are on the injury list. Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez are all ruled out with several injury woes.
And Navas has been identified as an option for the Gunners after falling down the pecking order at Etihad Stadium. Navas is no close to being included in Spain’s squad for the 2016 Euro. He should be open to the offer of moving to the Emirates as he doesn’t really get chances to start at Etihad, anyhow.
