Man UTD target English star on Bayern Munich radar

Harry Kane is the shock name on Bayern Munich’s wanted list. The German giants have watched the Spurs strikers three times and are ready to join Manchester United in the race for the 50 million Euros rated star. The Sun reported

Pep Guardiola’s side, who have won three successive Bundesligatitles, have great attacking players such as Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski already, but it seems that Guardiola is still looking for more threats in the final third.

The Sun state that the Bayern Munich have sent their scout to watch Spurs hero Harry Kane on three occasions, ahead of a possible move for the England international next summer.

The 22-year-old Harry kane, has come up through the ranks at White Hart Lane, and has made himself a hero amongst Spurs supporters having smashed 31 goals in all competitions for the club last season.

Kane burst back to life last weekend in the Premier League at Bournemouth, as the 22-year-old forward bagged a hat-trick in a 5-1 away win.

Before that, Kane had only scored one Premier League goal this season.

This season has been a little tougher for Kane, but he hit a hat-trick against Bournemouth last week, with fans now hoping that he can rekindle his best form.

Regardless, his exploits in front of goal last season appear to have attracted plenty of interest in his signature.

Premier League contenders United have been long-term admirers of Bale and have been regularly linked with a move for the past year.

Bayern is said to be keen to add to their attacking options, with Dutch star Arjen Robben regularly suffering injuries over recent seasons.

It’s hard to see Bayern really pushing for Kane considering the attacking talent at their disposal already as well as the fee it would take Tottenham to even consider selling, making this one transfer rumour which fans will find difficult to see happening right now.

Were Kane to move to the Allianz Arena, one has to wonder how much game time the forward would have with Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller the main forwards in Munich.

Saying that, Kane would likely find an offer from Pep Guardiola’s side almost impossible to turn down as Bayern are one of the top teams in world football.

Harry Kane is set to return to action on Monday night when Tottenham host Aston Villa at White Hart Lane.
