Arsenal beat Burnley 1-0 in an intense match and now have moved just 4 points within Chelsea in an unlikely title bid late on. Arsenal have now won 8 league games in a row, something Arsenal fans could not have imagined during the mid-season blip.

After Arsenal’s recent win at Turf Moore, former Arsenal legend Theirry Henry was full of praise for one Arsenal in particular as he picked him as his Man of the Match choice from the game. Henry picked Arsenal’s new found star Francis Coquelin as the main man from the win over Burnley.

Henry was speaking to Sky Sports when he continued to praise the sense of awareness and composure in Coquelin displays every single time he walsk out on the pitch. Having already played 13 times this season, Coquelin has made the Central Midfield role at Arsenal almost his own.

Henry said: “I thought he was brilliant today. He was our man of the match.

“He senses the danger and gives the ball straight away. He has awareness and not in a stupid way. He stays on his feet, and is always helped by Santi Cazorla.

“Maybe because he went away [on loan] and he thought: ‘I don’t want to go on loan any more, I want to show everyone that I can play for Arsenal’.”

Francis Coquelin was announced the official man of the match for the game as well but a direct praise from the Arsenal legend Henry will lift Coquelin’s morale and would motivate him to do even better for the remaining games of the season.
