1)Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez was in brilliant form for Liverpool last season, scoring 31 goals, winning the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year, Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, Barclays Premier League Player of the Year, Barclays Premier League Golden boot Winner and European Golden Boot award. Suarez scored 31 league goals last season, equalling the record held by Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo, despite missing the first five games of the season. Suarez recently made a £75m move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

2)Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo shared the European Golden boot with Luis Suarez last season. The Real Madrid star forward scored 31 league goals last season and also played a crucial part in their Champions league win.

3)Lionel Messi

Messi scored 28 league goals for Barcelona last season after missing few matches due to injury. The four times Ballon d’Or winner also helped Argentina to reach the finals of the World Cup. He also became the second highest goalscorer in La Liga, overtaking Hugo Sanchez.

4)Zlatan Ibrahimović
Ibrahimovic scored 26 league goals last season for Paris Saint-Germain and ended up as the top goal scorer of Ligue 1. Ibrahimovic played a key role in Paris Saint-Germain’s league win.

5)Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale featured in just 27 league games for Real Madrid scoring 15 goals. He also scored the winner against Atlético Madrid in the 2014 UEFA Champions League Final. He enjoyed a great season with Real Madrid after a world record transfer fee move to Santiago Bernabéu.
