Arsenal are on high alert as young Italian centre-half Daniele Rugani gives a hint on leaving Juventus. Reports in the Metro saying the under-21 Italian is not happy with his life in Serie A.

Before the season started manager Massimiliano Allegri promised him to give a first team opportunity but things didn’t go that way. The promising youngster still warming in the bench. He has lost his fight to cement a place in the first eleven to the experienced ones like Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonuccci and Andrea Barzagli. The Turin outfits sent him to Empoli at lone and there Rugani was hobbling last season. This season, until now Rugani has only one Serie A appearance for Juventus.

Now Arsenal lining up for a potential transfer request of £13m to lure the Italian starlet in January but may have to fight with Napoli who also kept an eye on the Italian defender. But Rugani himself prefers Anfield as he is desperate to leave Italy. In the centre-back berths, the Gunners already have Gabriel, Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker. Wenger is still keen to bring in Rugani to bolster his defensive options for the second half of the season.
