Manchester United are finally close to announcing a deal for Paul Pogba, the French sensation, who is been linked with the club since the start of the summer transfer window.

However, now that the manager has got his man, Mourinho will look at players within the squad to leave and reduce the wage burden on the club in the next season.

A number of players are currently linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer but in a new development, it is understood that first-choice right back at the club Antonio Valencia might be moving out this summer.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are currently in the market for a central midfielder and a right back and are looking at several options all over Europe.

The likes of Lucas Leiva from Liverpool and Bastian Schweinsteiger are linked for the midfield position but it is now understood that Galatasaray have made a cheap bid for Manchester United man Antonio Valencia.

According to reports, the Turkish outfit are ready to pay a mere £1.3million for their man and have made a bid for a four-year contract for the 31-year old.

The Ecuador international was in fine form in the pre-season picking up loads of assists and is currently the main man for the manager in that position.

However, he has an able replacement in Matteo Darmian in the ranks and may be tempted to let the veteran leave this summer.

Valencia is currently contracted with the club only until the end of the current season and is expected to leave on a free transfer if he does not get enough game time at Old Trafford.

If that is that case, Manchester United might be tempted to seal a deal in the upcoming days.

However, with United also active in Europe, it will be interesting to see if Mourinho decides to sell his man and dive into the market for further cover to his defense.

Do you think Antonio Valencia should be sold to Galatasaray this summer?
