Arsenal take on Everton this weekend in the Premier League game in a crucial game week 30 on Saturday. The Gunners are at the third position in the league table with 52 points. They had a horrendous couple of weeks which slowly drifted them away from the title race.
Arsenal at present are 6 points behind traditional rivals and second placed Tottenham Hotspur and 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City. The situation at the moment demands full three points from Arsene Wenger’s men.
Roberto Martinez’s Everton had an average season this time with only Romelu Lukaku shining for the club. They are at the 12th position in the league table. A point from this vital clash will be enough for the Toffees outfit.
Ahead of the match, Arsene Wenger addressed the press, where he said, “Mathieu Flamini picked up an injury against Barcelona. Apart from that everything looks positive.
“Our performance against Barcelona was positive. We just want to play with the same passion and desire now.”
Wenger also provided vital information regarding the fitness of his players.
“Santi Cazorla is recovering slowly. JackWilshere is developing well. Aaron Ramsey will be back sooner.
“We are focused on a positive result. Now is the time for us to produce the results that we want.”
On opponent’s Lukaku, Wenger said: “We knew him when he was in Belgium. He is getting better year after year.”
On Arsenal’s performance, he opined, “We need to increase the quality of our game then the strikers will benefit. We have quality strikers.
“We are fully focused on tomorrow and finishing well this season. We need to give 100 per cent.”
“Things will change until the end of the season. We must take care of our own destiny.”
