Jurgen Klopp will be more than happy with his team’s approach to the pre-season. They are yet to conceded a goal while his new signings have already impressed the fans with their performances.

However, the manager is not done yet and is still looking at some more additions in the transfer window. He is close to completing the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United and is now looking to raid PSG for one their top class talent.

The 23-year old Lucas Moura, was one of the many impressive players in Paris in the last two seasons and has been integral to the plans of the manager.

However, he has been linked with an exit this summer with the manager planning to add some quality and it is understood that Liverpool are ready to pounce on him this summer.

The Brazilian international is one of the quickest players in League 1 and will be a great asset to the Liverpool side. He scored 13 goals in 32 starts for the French champions last season and is in some good form off late.

And this has seen the Premier League club attract some interest as the manager at Anfield tries to build a squad not just for the next season but for years to come.

Moura who is a natural winger is full of pace and strength. Being a Brazilian, his skill and technique are superb and that added with the final product and his ability to create space in the final third make him a dangerous player.

However, at Liverpool, the likes of Phillipe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, and Adam Lallana are fighting for that one place and Moura will only add to the competition for places.

Liverpool are not in Europe this season and will play a significantly less number of games from the previous season. But the manager seems to take every bit of depth he can into the next season as he is trying to get the club back to where it was.

Moura can be the man to help them there but if the English club cannot guarantee him a regular starting place and cannot offer his European football, it is hard to see how he will be convinced to moved to Anfield.

Do you think Liverpool can get hold of Lucas Moura this summer?
