WWE Superstar Sheamus asks Wayne Rooney to step in the WWE ring. Sheamus has challenged the Manchester United and England international striker Wayne Rooney openly.

In an interview with Soccer AM, the Irishman said he would love to have the England forward any time inside the WWE ring. Few months back, by slapping another WWE Superstar, King Barrett at Monday Night Raw, Wayne Rooney already made the headlines, so this, not the first time he is hitting the news charts. DailyStar reportedly posted what Sheamus said to Soccer AM:

“Wayne, I tell you what fella’, you may be good at Man United, you may be good in front of goal but I tell you what, you’ve got no chance in a WWE ring.

“Don’t worry about King Barrett, he’s a little soft, but you want someone hard, you want a real fight, just take on the Celtic Warrior.

“I’ll be ready and wait.” Said the WWE Irish Superstar Sheamus.

On April 19, the city of Manchester is going to host the WWE event and Sheamus is all set to appear in that event.

The Red Devils skipper has just returned from his recovery and also started in last night’s 1-0 victory against Aston Villa at the Old Trafford. Rooney is all set to make it for Roy Hodgson’s England team to play in the EURO 2016.  Though Rooney was subbed off last night at the 67th minute, but there are no injury issues with the Englishman again, reports stating it was a just precautionary act from the Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal and there is nothing to be worried about for the fans. Marcus Rashford scored the winning goal, making it mathematically impossible for Villa to stay in the Premier League next year as they will surely be relegated this season.
