Wilfried Zaha, currenly on loan at Crystal Palace from Manchester United will soon be signing on a permanent basis for the Selhurst Park outfit. Zaha is expected to sign a five-and-a-half-years deal in coming few hours. Zaha has recently clamied that, “He feels at home once again while playing for palace in his loan spell“.
Zaha joined Manchester United in a much hyped deal in 2014 for a fee of £15 Million, but Zaha’s United career was full of frustration as he was never given the first team opportunity.
Wilfried Zaha was loaned back to Palace in the summer and has been on an impressive run since then. New Palace manager Allan pardrew is keen on wrapping up a permanent deal for Zaha and he expects Zaha to lead Palace’s attack in coming few seasons. Zaha himself is keen on a move to his former side where he made a name for himself as one of the most exciting wingers in English Football.
Mancheser United and Crystal Palace are slogging to reach an agreement over the proposed fee. Palace are holding on to the initial £6 Million offered but United want the money to be in the region of £10 Million.
Zaha £10million move to Manchester United never saw all its clauses and bonuses activated so they will be written off, and Palace will pay just £3.25million up front for the England winger. Plenty of add-ons could take that closer to £8million. United still owe Palace close to £4 Million in the initial deal to bring Zaha to Old Trafford. This sum could be waved off by Crystal Palace to smoothly negotiate a deal to bring Zaha back to Selhurst park.
