Australia legendary spinner Shane Warne passed away on Friday at the age of 52 in Thailand. The news left the whole world in shock. The tributes have been pouring from all corners for the legendary cricketer.
However, the Thailand Police have still not zeroed in on the exact cause of death. It is learned that Shane Warne visited the doctor hours before he was found unresponsive in his hotel room.
“I am not sure as it depends on the doctor’s opinion,” said Yuttana from the Thai police.
The commander of the provincial police, Satit Polpinit revealed that there was a lot of blood in his room and the CPR procedure was followed, he coughed a lot of liquid.
“A large amount of blood was found in the room. When CPR was started, the deceased had coughed up liquid and was bleeding,” said Satit Polpinit as quoted by Skynews.com.au.
Just a few hours ago, he tweeted about former Australian player Rod Marsh’s death. So it’s quite mysterious how his health deteriorated suddenly.
Sad to hear the news that Rod Marsh has passed. He was a legend of our great game & an inspiration to so many young boys & girls. Rod cared deeply about cricket & gave so much-especially to Australia & England players. Sending lots & lots of love to Ros & the family. RIP mate❤️

Warne’s body will be transferred to mainland Thailand for an autopsy on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Australian ambassador in Thailand, Allan McKinnon, said that they would be able to send Warne’s body to Australia as soon as possible.
“I’m here on behalf of Shane Warne’s family and his travelling companions to thank Superintendent Yuttana and his team here at the Bo Phun Police Station and the hospital in Koh Samui for facilitating this process and getting Shane Warne back to Australia as quickly as possible. They have been very compassionate, very efficient, and very understanding,” said McKinnon.
Shane Warne represented Australia in 145 Tests and 193 ODIs in his 15-year long career spanning from 1992 to 2007. His Test wickets tally of 708 wickets is the second-highest among the leading wicket-takers list. In ODIs, he finished with 293 wickets which included two player-of-the-match performances in the semifinal and final of World Cup 1999.
