Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from the club in the recent days and the Portuguese skipper has dumped his profile photo of him in a Real Madrid shirt.
The latest move is fueling the transfer speculations of a move back to Manchester United as reports in Spain and England continue to link him with a return back to Old Trafford this summer.
However, many feel that the Portuguese skipper had changed his profile picture to Portugal national jersey because he is currently representing his nation in the Confederations Cup.
But according to one social media user, “he has never done this in the past”.
The latest move by Ronaldo in Instagram is only making things much more interesting for both Real Madrid and Manchester United interesting in the coming days as an exit from La Liga champions is looking a possibility.
One United fan wrote on the post: “If Ronaldo signs for us, I’ll sing and play his chant on guitar, wearing only a hat, and my wife’s smallest panty”.
While another simply wrote: “It’s happening”.
The 32-year old is the best player in the planet right now but had found it difficult to cope up with the fans in the recent months as they booed him multiple times. Meanwhile, he is under more pressure with Spanish prosecutors accusing him of evading £13million in tax last week.
Leading Portuguese newspaper A Bola, reported that Cristiano Ronaldo had decided to end his stay at Real Madrid. He has reportedly told Florentino Perez that the “irreversible” decision is final and will end his eight years stay at Bernabeu this summer.
The shocking move from Ronaldo had taken Real Madrid completely off guard as the Los Blancos are currently looking to find the best possible solution by the end of the summer. The news was apparently covered by Madrid’s biggest newspaper Marca.
It is also believed that Real Madrid has asked all the Spanish media outlets not to publish Ronaldo’s pictures in Real Madrid shirt. Meanwhile, Manchester United fans are very much excited at the moment with the prospect of seeing Ronaldo back at Old Trafford.
