England has named their squad for the T20I series in West Indies next month. Eoin Morgan will lead the 16-player squad while Paul Collingwood will take up the coaching duties. Also former England opener Marcus Trescothick will join the squad as an assistant coach.
George Garton and David Payne are the only two faces in the squad. Notable that none of the members from the Ashes squad will be part of the series as there is only 4 days gap between the two series.

“We have selected a strong squad with some serious batting power and a balanced attack as we begin preparations ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia,” Paul Collingwood said as quoted by the ECB website.”
“The World Cup is less than a year away and there will be increased opportunities for the squad in the absence of those players who are with the Ashes squad. I have good memories winning a World Cup in Barbados and I’m really looking forward to going back there with this squad to face a very good West Indies who will test all aspects of our skills,” he added further.
The T20I series will begin on January 23 as all the matches will be played at Kensington Oval, Barbados. T20I series will be followed by 3-Test match series starting on March 8. All members from the Ashes squad will be likely to be available for the selection in the Test squad.

Previously England played 8 T20Is against West Indies in the Caribbean land as they won 4 games and lost 4. In previous tour 2019, Eoin Morgan & co. clean swept the hosts. Though West Indies was playing without their star players.
