2008 Olympic bronze medalist boxer and India’s most celebrated Boxer Vijender Singh is all set to make a lucrative career in professional boxing. If he does so, he will lose the rights to represent India in Boxing, which could well be a loss for the country.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Vijender will be joining the stable of British promoter Francis Warren. The report further stated that Vijender has been in London to train for upcoming major international events. But now he is likely to turn pro, with Warren revealing his boxing future at a press conference in the British capital on Monday.

Vijender has also posted pictures of himself with a few other professional boxers in England on Facebook and Twitter. Warren’s media team manager Richard Maynard has also confirmed that the Indian sporting icon is set to take the plunge into professional boxing.

Boxing promoter Francis Warren is expected to host a press conference later today, in which he wll reveal the announcement regarding the Boxing sensation. Here is the picture of Vijender with Professional Boxers in London.
