MS Dhoni stunned the cricketing fraternity by making shocking Test retirement in December 2014. After leading India in the 3rd Test of the series at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, the keeper made the decision to quit the longest format, handing over the charge to Virat Kohli.

The legendary cricketer didn’t drop any hint before or after the Test match and the announcement left his fans stunned. Since India was to play a tri-series and the 2015 World Cup after the Test series, the keeper stayed in Australia for the next three months.
