The 24 year old will wear the number 19 shirt at Arsenal. Gunners frontline looks a big threat to the defenders of rival clubs in the premier league. Alexander Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang had scored a total of 50 goals combined last season. With another strong attacker added, Arsenal look to be fierce in attack.
Nicolas Pepe was signed last season by LOSC Lille for £10 million. His continued good form for his previous club Angers S.C.O, earned him his first call-up to the national side. He made his debut for the Ivory Coast in December 2016.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery said: “Nicolas is a highly rated and talented winger who was wanted by many of the top teams in Europe.
“Signing a top-class winger has been one of our key objectives in this transfer window and I’m delighted he’s joining.

“He will add pace, power and creativity, with the aim of bringing more goals to our team.”
Pepe was a target for many top European clubs, who had also agreed to his transfer fee with Lille. Pepe chose Arsenal over the other top clubs.
After the transfer was made official, Pepe told in an interview to Arsenal’s official website: “Being here is very emotional because it has not been easy for me. I’ve come a long way and struggled a lot and so signing for this great club is a big reward”
Pepe becomes Arsenal’s 4th signing this summer. They have already brought Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba to the Emirates.
