KC Cariappa Shares Experience Of Being At Rajasthan Royals In IPL 2021

KC Cariappa was with the Rajasthan Royals squad before IPL 2021 was indefinitely suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis. He spoke about his experience of being at Rajasthan Royals and praised his skipper, Sanju Samson.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) provides youngsters, especially local talent, with a great opportunity to mingle, discuss, and learn various aspects of the game from some of the world’s best players and equally good coaching staff. Be it Indian stalwarts or overseas stars, the learning can be immense and the experience, supremely cherishable.

KC Cariappa Praised Calm Sanju Samson, Warm Person Ben Stokes, Less Talkative Jos Buttler For Creating Positive Vibes In Rajasthan Royals Team Environment

A certain Indian uncapped player namely Konganda Charamanna Cariappa, or as usually know, KC Cariappa can vouch for it. Having been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders, erstwhile Kings XI Punjab, and most recently the Rajasthan Royals, this spinner has shared the dressing with the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler among others.

The 27-year-old was with the Rajasthan Royals squad before IPL 2021 was indefinitely suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis in India and an outbreak in various franchise bio-bubbles. While speaking to Sportskeeda, the Karnatak player spoke about his experience.

“Samson was really good, he is always calm. When I played U-19, he also played that same season for Kerala. The way he captained the side in IPL 2021, he always ensured the players were brimming with confidence,” he said.

KC Cariappa also lavished praise on two prominent Englishmen and added that the team environment was great.

“RR look at every player the same, there are no assumptions. Ben Stokes is such a warm person, he would come and talk to us while we would eat. Buttler would talk the least, he is always smiling, and when you see him you get really positive vibes. Even in the practice sessions, whether you are international or domestic, it didn’t matter, we were all looked after very well,” he remarked.

Sanju Samson topped the run-scorers chart for the franchise, as he smashed a century and amassed 277 runs in 7 matches. Rajasthan Royals, under Sanju Samson’s captaincy debut, won three of their first seven matches and stood fifth in the points table.

Jos Buttler scored 254 runs while Shivam Dube and David Miller scored more than 100 runs. Among bowlers, all-rounder Chris Morris took 14 scalps, Mustafizur Rahman took 8 wickets and debutant Chetan Sakariya took 7 scalps. Ben Stokes was out injured in the very 1st match.

KC Cariappa Hopes When IPL 2021 Resumes, Rajasthan Royals Start Off Well

He revealed that leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal is a prank master and that he is hopeful of the season resuming soon.

“Shreyas is a prank master. When he was in quarantine, he would call up everyone through the hotel phone. He’s a very jolly guy. I was close with Miller and Tewatia in the RR camp, I have played with them before. This season was turning out to be good, hopefully, when it resumes we should be in a good position to start off well,” signed off Cariappa.

KC Cariappa has played 11 matches, the last of which came in 2019 and picked 8 scalps. He made his debut with the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2015, and later was a part of the Kings XI Punjab setup. He did not have the best of IPLs picking up just 8 wickets in 10 matches across three seasons(2015-17).

He was roped in as one of the replacements for injured KKR pacers Kamlesh Nagarkoti & Shivam Mavi in 2019 and played a solitary game where he went wicketless. KC Cariappa will ply his trade for RR after being brought on board for INR 20 Lac in the IPL 2021 Player Auction. The leg-spinner has thus far played 29 T20s and has 25 wickets to his name and will be out to make an impact for RR in the IPL 2021.

IPL 2020: KXIP Captaincy Has Not Affected KL Rahul’s Form – Ajit Agarkar

Former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar opined that handing captaincy of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) to KL Rahul had not pressurized him. Although KXIP has been knocked out of the tournament, Rahul is leading the run-gatherer table, scoring 670 runs in 14 matches.

His extraordinary performance has earned him a place in India’s squad across all the formats for the Australia tour. Moreover, he has been promoted to vice-captain position in the white-ball.

On being asked if he saw KL Rahul captaining India in the future, Ajit Agarkar said that the national selectors’ decision to appoint him as the vice-captain for the tour to Australia does give that indication.

“The way the selection has happened it shows that the selectors are thinking about him like that. The biggest thing has been that his form has not been impacted by captaincy,” Ajit Agarkar said.

Ajit Agarkar hails KL Rahul for his determination:

Agarkar added that a high-pressure tournament like IPL could damage any new young captain’s performance, but this has not been the case with KL Rahul. The wicketkeeper-batsman has been leading the pack while also getting runs for them on every occasion.

“It is a very high pressure tournament, when you are a young captain leading for the first time and don’t have that much experience, then your form can suffer and your game can go down, but that has not happened with him,” Ajit Agarkar further stated.

“He has made the same runs and batted in a similar fashion. So that is a big positive for any player, which means he is handling pressure very well,” he added.

KL Rahul’s prolific performance has also earned him a comeback call in the Test team. He has not played in the longest format of the game since September last year.

IPL 2020: Chris Gayle Playing Slowly Mounted Pressure On KL Rahul – Aakash Chopra After KXIP Lost To CSK

After Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) got knocked out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra pointed out that Chris Gayle’s slow inning added up pressure on the captain KL Rahul which eventually led to losing his wicket.

While speaking on his YouTube Channel, Aakash Chopra observed that although Mayank Agarwal gave a fiery start to Kings XI Punjab, KL Rahul and Chris Gayle could not carry on the momentum.

The Universe Boss consumed 19 balls but scored 12 runs while Rahul trying to release pressure played a bad shot and got out. Consecutively, Pooran and then Gayle got out.

Aakash Chopra added that KXIP, who was looking to qualify for playoffs, had derailed after their last defeat against RR.

“Gayle playing slowly put the pressure on KL Rahul and he played a bad shot to get out. Pooran got out while playing a shot as well and then Gayle also got out. So the campaign which was seeming to fly, crash-landed suddenly as KXIP lost to RR earlier and couldn’t reach a good total in this contest,” Aakash Chopra said.

When KXIP was down for five wickets, Deepak Hooda came to rescue and went berserk against CSK bowlers, scoring 62* runs off 30 balls. His sensational knock helped KXIP to post 154 runs target, but it was not enough to help them to secure a berth in the playoffs, observed the renowned commentator.

“Deepak Hooda saved them a few blushes as he played an excellent knock, 62 runs off 30 balls. He took KXIP beyond 150 but was that going to be enough. Not at all,” Aakash Chopra added.

Rituraj Gaikwad dented KXIP’s plan as he remained unbeaten and registered his third-half century in a row. He scored 62 runs off 49 balls to end CSK’s campaign on high.

CSK, KXIP along RR has been knocked out of the playoff race while KKR, RCB, DC and SRH are still fighting for the place.

IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab – KXIP Predicted XI

Standing at the number fourth position on the IPL 2020 points table, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has the do or die match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday (November 1) to secure the berth in the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

Kings XI Punjab, who also had a disastrous start of the tournament like Chennai Super Kings, climbed up in the points table after winning back-to-back five matches out of the last six played. They will be desperate to grab two points by winning their last league match against CSK.

Here, let’s take a look at KXIP Predicted XI against CSK:

KL Rahul (c & wk):

KL Rahul

Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul missed a half-century in the last match against RR. He was out after scoring 46 runs off 41 balls although the team set up a good target of 186 runs. However, they could not defend the total. The flamboyant batsman will have to set a good base for the team against CSK.

Mandeep Singh:

Mandeep Singh played a gritty knock against KKR to take the game home, but in the last match, he was out for a golden duck. As he is playing as the replacement of Mayank Agarwal, he needs to set the stage on fire for Kings XI Punjab to lock the space for them in playoffs.

Chris Gayle:

IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 3
Chris Gayle and KL Rahul (Image Credit: IPL)

Chris Gayle was frustrated and disappointed after he was out at just 99 runs after Jofra Archer bowled a beautiful yorker. He threw his bat in the air as he lost his temper. But the Universe Boss proved that age is just a number and the player needs to be strong mentally to dominate the field.

If the power-hitter again plays the merciless innings against CSK, KXIP will have the upper hand in the game.

Nicholas Pooran:

Nicholas Pooran

After KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran has been the regular scorer for KXIP. If he had been longer in the field in the last match against RR, KXIP would have set 200 runs target. He scored 22 runs off 10 balls and struck three sixes. The Windies need to play rocket-fuelling innings against CSK.

Glenn Maxwell:

Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell’s poor form is hurting Kings XI Punjab who are striving to enter the playoffs. Against Delhi Capitals, he got runs with the bat but was struggling. However, his spin bowling has been effective in controlling the run rate.

Deepak Hooda:

Deepak Hooda was out for a duck against SRH, but against DC, he took the team to victory. He is a huge responsibility to finish the job for Kings XI Punjab.

Chris Jordan:

The fast-bowling allrounder Chris Jordan was outstanding against SRH. Adjudged Man of the Match for his performance, he snared three wickets while gave away only 17 runs in his four overs quota. His death over bowling was spectacular and helped the team to register the victory. He is surely going to play a crucial role for Kings XI Punjab against CSK.

Murugan Ashwin:

The leg-spinner Murugan Ashwin is playing the key role for Kings XI Punjab, giving them crucial breakthroughs while proving to be economical. Overall, he has picked up 10 wickets in eight matches at the acceptable economy rate of 7.44

Mohammed Shami:

The leading wicket-taker for Kings XI Punjab, Mohammed Shami has executed perfect yorkers to notch wickets and has taken out the team from a tough situation. He has snared 20 wickets in 13 matches at the strike rate of 8.67.

Ravi Bishnoi:

As the tournament has moved forward, Ravi Bishnoi has improved drastically. He got the prized wickets of Eoin Morgan and Cummins against KKR. But against RR, he went wicketless although was economical than other bowlers. He is going to be the game-changer for Kings XI Punjab.

Arshdeep Singh:

The young speedster was the star performer for Kings XI Punjab against SRH. In his last over which was also the last over of the game, he picked up back to back two wickets while also got one run-out and defended 13 runs. It was an unbelievable performance from Arshdeep Singh. He is the pivotal player for KXIP.

IPL 2020: Gautam Gambhir Heaps Praise On KXIP’s Exciting Prospect Arshdeep Singh

Cricketer-turned-commentator Gautam Gambhir believes that the fortune for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has changed in the last matches because they have got three special death-over bowlers. But he names that Arshdeep Singh has a major impact on all the results of KXIP.

Kings XI Punjab had a forgetful start to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, losing six matches out of seven. But they had made a strong comeback winning four matches in a row and are favourites to clear for playoffs.

While speaking on ESPNCricinfo, Gautam Gambhir stated that what has changed for KXIP in the last couple of matches which has turned the tide for them.

The former Indian cricketer said that KL Rahul has now got Mohammed Shami, Chris Jordan and Arshdeep Singh for death over bowling option. He added that it is a luxury for any captain to have three options to bowl crucial overs.

“The best thing is that KL Rahul now has three fast bowlers to whom he can give the ball to in the death overs – Mohammed Shami, Chris Jordan and Arshdeep Singh,” Gambhir said.

“If you look at the first seven games for KXIP, KL Rahul had to search whom to give the overs to in the death overs. Now he has three options. When any captain has three options in the death – it is a luxury, ” he said.

Credit for change in KXIP goes to Arshdeep Singh: Gambhir

But Gautam Gambhir admitted the biggest positive factor for KXIP had been the young pacer Arshdeep Singh. He said that being a domestic player while inexperienced in comparison to his teammates, Arshdeep has given exceptional performance and has changed the dynamic for Punjab.

“The credit for this I would like to give to Arshdeep Singh. Because Mohammed Shami and Chris Jordan are both international bowlers. But Arshdeep is a young, domestic cricketer and he has bowled well in the death overs. It has helped in changing the structure and compensation of the entire team since Arshdeep has been in the playing XI,” Gautam Gambhir further said.

Arshdeep Singh has featured in six matches and has picked up nine wickets. Against SRH, he starred for KXIP, picking two back-to-back wickets in the last over of the game — and guiding them to 12 runs victory.

IPL 2020: Anil Kumble’s Fighting Spirit Can Be Seen In Kings XI Punjab’s Performance – Sunil Gavaskar

After seeing Kings XI Punjab snatching victories from the jaw of defeats, former Indian cricketer and renowned commentator Sunil Gavaskar has stated that their head coach Anil Kumble had a huge influence on them because of which they have come back from an impossible situation.

After winning four matches in a row, Kings XI Punjab are standing at number five position and are still alive in the race of qualifying for playoffs. Well, nobody would have thought Kings would have climbed to the fifth position after they had lost back to back five matches.

While speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Live, Sunil Gavaskar said that Kings XI Punjab has, finally, found a way to win the matches after losing the matches they deserved to take home.

“You know, they have just found the winning way! They seem to have lost that at the start of the tournament. Remember, every time they were close to winning and they went into the super over in their first-ever game and then again, after that they were losing in the final overs,” Sunil Gavaskar said.

For their unbelievable victory against SunRisers Hyderabad, while defending 126 runs, Sunil Gavaskar said that self-belief was their key to success.

“Then, somewhere down the line, they found that key, that takes them to a win and the last few games, they have played exceptional cricket. The last match, to defend a 126 takes a lot of doing, takes a lot of self-belief and that’s what they showed,” Gavaskar stated.

KL Rahul is leading them brilliantly: Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar said that although KL Rahul has not given up to scratch performance with his bat, he has not let down the team with his astute captaincy. He heaped praise on how Rahul is placing fielding and using the bowlers wisely.

“They have been brilliantly led by KL Rahul. KL Rahul has grown into the captaincy role, and though he didn’t score as many as he normally does, he made sure, with his field placing, with his bowling changes, even giving Chris Jordan that 19th over and then trusting Arshdeep to defend 14 in the final over is fantastic,” Gavaskar said.

Gavaskar added that the fighting spirit that everyone has witnessed in Anil Kumble could also be seen in Kings XI Punjab. He recalled that time when the former spinner went out to bowl even though he had broken his jaw.

The veteran expressed that the Punjab-based franchise has also learned from Kumble to come back from an impossible situation.

“Do not forget the role of Anil Kumble! Anil Kumble has been a fighter all his cricketing career, you could see when he went out with a broken jaw and bowled, and that spirit is seen in the KXIP. That is the reason why they have come back from impossible situations and are now in the hunt for the place in the playoffs,” Gavaskar added.

Kings XI Punjab will face Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday and it is a most crucial match for them to enter the top four in the points table.

IPL 2020: Arshdeep Singh – KXIP Team Management Backing Me Really Well

Arshdeep Singh, who was the star performer along with Chris Jordan for Kings XI Punjab in the stunning win against SunRisers Hyderabad, stated that he has got good support from the management which is helping to turn the tables in the field.

After Punjab set up a below-par target of 126 runs, the KL Rahul-led side was almost out of the competition but the bowlers changed the game for KXIP. It has been very less in T20 cricket that the bowlers have dominated the field even though the target to defend was so less.

Arshdeep Singh bowled perfect lengths and not gave away runs easily while Chris Jordan’s death-over bowling murdered SRH. The spinner Ravi Bishnoi choked the middle-order and conceded only 13 runs in his four overs quota while picked the wicket of David Warner.

With 14 runs needed off the last over, KL Rahul handed over the bowl to Arshdeep. The young pacer put up a thrilling show by picking back to back two wickets while also got a run-out. Eventually, with one ball spare, KXIP won the match by 12 runs. It was an unbelievable and value for money match.

With the fourth victory in a row, KXIP is now standing at number five position in the points table and their chances to qualify for playoffs are still alive.

We are starting to get some momentum as a team: Arshdeep Singh

In the post-match presentation, Arshdeep Singh, who returned with the figures of 3-23, stated that team management has backed him ‘really well’. He said that the team has started getting some momentum after consecutive wins. Talking about his strategy, he said that his plan was to keep things simple.

I have been backed up really well by the management and good that we are starting to get some momentum as a team. The plan was to keep it simple and let them hit on the bigger side and it worked,” Arshdeep said at the post-match press conference.

Arshdeep Singh also heaped praise on his teammate Ravi Bishnoi. He said that the spinner is bowling economically while also has given major breakthroughs to the team.

“Ravi has been really exceptional for us. He has been bowling really well. The main thing is that his overs are very economical. And when he gets a chance, he gives us a major breakthrough,” said Arshdeep.

Kings XI Punjab will now face-off Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday. It is an important match for Punjab to grab two points and enter in top four in the points table.

Nicholas Pooran has been one of the biggest positives for King XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Even the legendary Sachin Tendulkar has also praised his masterstroke and has stated that the Windies reminds him of JP Duminy.

Nicholas Pooran scored the second half-century of this season in the last match against Delhi Capitals. His gusty innings of 53 runs off 28 balls sealed the third victory of this tournament for Kings XI Punjab.

Taking to Twitter, the Master Blaster heaped praise on Pooran’s clean striking abilities. He also added that the southpaw’s stance and backlift reminds him of South African cricketer JP Duminy.

“Some power-packed shots played by @nicholas_47. What a clean striker of the ball he has been. His stance and backlift reminds me of @jpduminy21,” Tendulkar tweeted.

After KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran is the leading scorer for Kings XI Punjab. In 10 matches, he has amassed 295 runs at an average of 36.87 and a healthy strike rate of 183. 22.

Against RCB, he avoided the game to super over by striking six in the last ball of the last over. Also, against SRH, the aggressive batsman had tried his best to take the game home but unfortunately, the other end kept losing wickets.

Pooran has a big role to play in IPL 2020:

As KXIP looks to qualify for playoffs, Pooran has a huge responsibility to gather runs in middle-order.

Meanwhile, KXIP is at number fifth position in the points table with winning four matches out of four. Well, they would have been in the top four if the result of the first two matches would have been in their favour.

On Saturday, they are set to face SunRisers Hyderabad, who are also struggling this season.

Brian Lara Disappointed That KXIP Has Not Included Chris Gayle In Playing XI Against KKR

Former West Indies’s legendary cricketer Brian Lara is disappointed with Kings XI Punjab’s playing XI selection against Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

In the pre-match show at Star Sports, Brian Lara stated that Chris Gayle should have played against KKR while Chris Jordan should have been dropped seeing his poor outing in the last few matches. He tagged Gayle is the fear factor for the opposition, and KXIP should have included him.

“I’m really disappointed (that Gayle is not there). Chris Gayle is a fear factor… We’ve seen Jordan, has not been very good in the IPL so far, I’m not saying he’s a bad player but I think packing the batting with Chris Gayle is something that they should’ve done,” said Brian Lara on the pre-match show at Star Sports.

According to Brian Lara, KXIP can chase down any target if their batting order has Chris Gayle along with KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, who are already in terrific form. He believes in maintaining overseas players number Cottrell should be excluded while the Universe Boss should be added.

“Imagine a batting line-up with KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Mayank Agarwal and Glenn Maxwell, they could chase down anything. So yes Cottrell out and I’d bring Chris Gayle in and trust my Indian bowling attack,” Lara added.

Chris Gayle has not played a single match since the start of IPL 2020. He has missed all the six matches. KXIP head coach Anil Kumble, before the last match against SRH, had said that they wanted Gayle in the XI, but he is sick.

However, before the ongoing KKR match, KXIP has not given any official statement about Chris Gayle’s health.

Meanwhile, KKR has given 165 runs target to KXIP. There is only one change in Dinesh Karthik‘s playing XI that is Shivam Mavi has been benched while Prasidh Krishna is playing

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab – KXIP Predicted XI

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are set to play their sixth match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday (October 8) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

Coming off from three back to back loses, Kings XI Punjab will desperately eye to win the match against SRH. Notably, they are the first time meeting in this ongoing tournament.

On that note, here, we have discussed Kings XI Punjab predicted XI against SRH.

1. KL Rahul (c):

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 10
KL Rahul (Image Credit: BCCI/IPL)

Kings XI Punjab is highly dependent on the captain and opening batsman KL Rahul for putting a good score on the board. He has scored 302 runs in five matches although his team has won only one match. The Indian cricketer has a huge responsibility to lead the team to victory against SRH to swoop in confidence.

2. Mayank Agarwal:

IPL 2020: Mayank Agarwal, IPL 2020: Kings XI Punjab vs Chennai Super Kings: KXIP Predicted XI
Mayank Agarwal. Image Credit: IPL.

Mayank Agarwal has also produced an outstanding performance. He is the leading scorer of the team, scoring 272 runs in five matches. To take the team to a good position, the Indian cricketer will have to bat for long against SRH.

3. Mandeep Singh:

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 11

Mandeep Singh has replaced Karun Nair in the last match against CSK. He scored 27 off 16 although he was for a short period in the field, he has shown his potential to build a partnership. The Kings XI Punjab will back him for another game against SRH.

4. Nicholas Pooran:

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 12
Nicholas Pooran (Image Credit: IPL)

Nicholas Pooran is only the middle-order batsman who has got things right for Kings XI Punjab. Against Mumbai Indians, when KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal lost their wicket early, he started building innings and got on the nerves of MI. Similarly against CSK, he was the only batsman in the middle-order batsman who made a significant contribution. So, he is unarguably going to play for KXIP.

5. Glenn Maxwell:

Glenn Maxwell, KXIP, IPL 2020

Glenn Maxwell, who was bought by Kings XI Punjab in last year’s auction to solve the middle-order problems, has not lived up to expectations. On all occasions, he has failed to secure runs for the team. In the last four matches, he has only scored 41 runs. He needs to step up against SRH and make a substantial contribution to lowering the burden on openers.

6. Jimmy Neesham:

Jimmy Neesham. (Photo by Andy Kearns/Getty Images)

Jimmy Neesham, the allrounder, has given significant contribution neither with the bat nor with the ball. But seeing his performance at the international level, he will be given the spot against SunRisers Hyderabad.

7. Sarfaraz Khan:

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 13

Sarfaraz Khan has played in all the five matches for KXIP but has got the opportunity to bat on only on three occasions. Against  MI, he got sufficient time to bat but threw away his wicket easily. The power-hitter only scored seven runs. He will have to make it count against SRH.

8. Krishnappa Gowtham:

IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Kings XI Punjab - KXIP Predicted XI 14

The allrounder Krishnappa Gowtham after playing the first IPL match for KXIP was dropped. He returned in the eleven in the last match against Mumbai Indians. All things were going right for him until he was handed over the last over to bowl against Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya. He was badly beaten and he conceded over 20 plus runs. However, he had taken the wicket of Ishan Kishan. He would be given the spot in playing XI against SRH because Chris Jordan has proved to be more expensive.

9. Ravi Bishnoi:

Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi is an exceptional talent. Being a domestic cricket, he has bowl outstanding spell against world-class batsman and has been successful. The spinner has picked up four wickets in five matches. He is the player to look out this season.

10. Mohammed Shami:

Mohammed Shami is also in the best form of his career and a strong contender for a purple cap this year. He has scalped eight wickets in five matches at the economy rate of 8.19. The pacer will trouble SRH batters to take the game home.

11. Sheldon Cottrell:

Sheldon Cottrell, the West Indies pacer, has snared crucial wickets of Virat Kohli, Quinton de Kock and others to give a breakthrough to the team. He is going to play a pivotal role in leading Kings XI Punjab to a good position.
