Former WWE Champion Big E who is also a former two times Intercontinental Champion and a former eight times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about the upcoming pay per view event Royal Rumble. He shared his desire to win the Royal Rumble match.
Royal Rumble is one of the most famous and anticipated events of WWE besides Wrestlemania. For a lot of fans, Royal Rumble is even a bigger event than Wrestlemania. And it is all because of one simple reason, the Royal Rumble match, the revolutionary concept that was once pitched by the professional wrestling legend Pat Patterson.
Big E Shares His Wish To Win The Royal Rumble Match
There is no doubt in the fact that Royal Rumble is one of the most anticipated events of the year and it comes only once every year. From 2017 WWE started to organise a women’s Royal Rumble match alongside the men’s Royal Rumble match as well which has become equally famous as the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Now let us talk about the chances of Big E winning this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match. We say, there is a very fat chance. He may definitely survive for quite a long time, but we do not see him winning the Royal Rumble match at this point.
We have already talked about it in a previous story that WWE might be planning to end the brand extension. If the speculations are true, then either one of the WWE World champions will be winning the Royal Rumble match. And about the women’s Royal Rumble match it has to be Charlotte Flair. And realistically, the phase WWE going through right now, they do not have any other option left in their hands.
We believe Big E would be having a non title feud before or after Royal Rumble which will lead to Wrestlemania. There is a chance of him having a feud with Seth Rollins which could last till Wrestlemania.
As we have talked about it already, WWE wants to build E as a top star once again, the first thing they need to do is to change his gimmick. This comedy gimmick is never suitable for a World Champion.
Fans will they were taken seriously if WWE does not change his gimmick. Something that happened to him during his previous WWE Championship run. Nobody took him seriously, and one reason behind this being his gimmick. We would be really happy to see him as a top star once again, but WWE has to work on it this time.

“Winning the Rumble would be incredible. That’s in St. Louis at a great venue in The Dome, and it would be a real moment. This is my chance to show another side of me. It’s time to turn up the intensity. My role with The New Day is so often comedic relief, but I don’t want to be one-dimensional. I want to be as well-rounded and as whole a performer as possible.”
