Former WWE star and a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion Curt Hawkins who is currently going by the name of Bryan Myers in the Impact wrestling recently talked about the women’s revolution in WWE. Ronda Rousey played a huge role in the women’s revolution of WWE and the women’s division of WWE is missing her a lot right now.

Government Revolution is believed to be started at 2015 with the triple threat match WWE Women’s Championship between Charlotte Flair Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 31.

Curt Hawkins Thinks Ronda Rousey Played A Huge Role In WWE’s Women’s Revolution

All three women that were involved in this match played important role in the women’s Revolution and still they are playing amazing roles. The women’s revolution was never possible without any name in the women’s division, whether they were involved in the women’s Revolution time period or they belonged from the timeline before.

But Ronda Rousey’s contribution in the women’s Revolution is undeniable. She has been one of the most important Architects of building the mentioned Revolution if not the most important. She was of course one of the biggest attractions of the time she worked in WWE.

She remained undefeated for a very long time before finally losing to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35. She also featured on the first ever women’s main event of Wrestlemania. She walked in as the WWE RAW Women’s champion

She joined WWE in early 2017 at the end of the Royal Rumble pay per view event of the mentioned year. After having some dominant performances back to back he won the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam after she defeated the previous champion Alexa Bliss.

She remained undefeated for over a year, she defeated all the wrestlers that came in front of her way and finally at WrestleMania 35 she walked in as the champion and featured on theand finally at WrestleMania 35 she walked in as the champion and featured on the first ever women’s main event of the show. Finally she dropped the Championship to Becky Lynch and that was the last time we saw her at WWE. There is a rumour of her coming back to WWE soon.

Curt Hawkins who is currently going by the name of Bryan Myers in the Impact wrestling recently spoke to Wrestling Inc. Daily where he said Ronda Rousey played a huge role in the women’s revolution of WWE and the women’s division of WWE is missing her a lot right now. She said;

“Yeah, but they made their mark and they made their point. It’s come so far since when I started, what it was, bikini contests and nonsense. I was part of WWE the past couple of years and I saw that women matter, like, big time.

“They have huge fanbases, they move merch, they get superstar reactions on shows and live events. It’s really cool to see how far it’s come. I think it’s still growing, I do think losing Ronda was a big hit to the star power of the women’s roster. She brought a lot to the table, I was there for a lot of that, she’s a megastar. Bringing all the rest of the roster up to her level, which I thought was pretty cool.

“Super cool. I did tours with her and all kinds of stuff, she threw herself right into the thick of it, like one of the boys. It was really cool actually.”
