Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff who was the first ever General Manager of Monday Night RAW recently talked about the ongoing fan favourite storyline of the Bloodline and explained why it was even better than the nWo.
The nWo storyline was pretty much Revolutionary back in the 90s wrestling. WWE‘s Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon storyline was ruling the world of professional wrestling during the time and the nWo was WCW’s answer to WWE. Without any doubt it was a revolutionary concept back then and fans really loved it.

Eric Bischoff Explains Why Bloodline Is Better Than The nWo
Today it might have been nothing special, but back then, everybody kept on tuning in to TNT every week to watch the next chapter of the WCW versus nWo storyline. The nWo is still considered as one of the best factions in the history of professional wrestling.
The Bloodline on the other hand is also a very famous faction in WWE right now. It is also being considered as the best faction in today’s professional wrestling world. Of course it became more impactful after Sami Zayn became a part of it and his storyline made things not only better, but must watch.

The Bloodline is often compared to the nWo. Their actions have sometimes been inspired from the nWo as well. But most of the fans believe that they are better than the nWo. Still, you have to keep the time gap in mind as well. What they are doing today cannot be compared to what the nWo did in the 90s.
Eric Bischoff who was the first ever General Manager of Monday Night RAW recently spoke on his 83 Weeks Podcast where he talked about the ongoing fan favourite storyline of the Bloodline and explain why it was even better than the nWo. He said;

“The truth is The Bloodline story, in terms of a storyline in and the ingredients and the elements and the discipline and the structure and the nature of it, is a far better story than the NOW. Will it have the same impact on the industry as the NWO did? Probably not.
“But, that has a lot to do with timing. There are so many things that made the NWO work, including Hulk Hogan turning heel, by the way. There were so many things that were just a moment in time that helped propel that storyline at that, that time that you can’t replicate that today.”
