WWE started their shows at Saudi Arabia in 2018. Their first Saudi Arabian show was the Greatest Royal Rumble which took place in April, 2018. In this show WWE organised the first and only 50 Man Royal Rumble match, without any purpose of course. Since then WWE kept on organising shows at the Saudis every year.

They organised more than one shows every year at the Saudis. Only the last two years day could not because of the covid-19 pandemic. Among these shows, WWE Crown Jewel became a yearly show of the promotion. It took place last year as well.

For every Saudi Arabian shows, WWE always bring in some of the biggest legends of professional wrestling to deliver some of the dream matches that they could not give during their prime time. For example Brothers of Destruction vs D Generation X, or the Undertaker vs Goldberg.

But unfortunately these matches have been terrible and they also they also became candidates of the worst matches of those particular years. Goldberg had been one of the biggest sensations of these Saudi shows. He participated in most of the Saudi shows of WWE.

At the Crown Jewel pay per view event, Bill got his revenge on Lashley as he not only he defeated him but he humiliated him. Since then Bill was not seen in WWE. But it is believed that he would return before WrestleMania 38 to have a match at the grandest stage of them all.

“And let’s be perfectly honest man, we were there at the groundbreaking stage of the westernization of that part of the country, of that part of the world. And we caught a lot of sh-t in the beginning. And I think, you know, look at all the people who jumped on board right now.

“Look at all the talent, all the events that they’ve been able to put on to westernize, to bring Saudi Arabia up to date. We caught a lot of sh-t in the beginning but I think we should be very proud of the precedent we’ve set.”
