Lita Wants To Compete At WrestleMania 38
Of course she made some sporadic appearances every now and then. She competed in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match back in 2018. She entered number 5 and listed two eliminations by her name. She was eliminated from the Royal Rumble match by Becky Lynch.
Recently it has been announced that she would be completing in the women’s Royal Rumble match this year. She even made an appearance in Friday Night Smackdown which has been listed as her return to SmackDown in nearly 20 years. She had a confrontation with the SmackDown Women’s champion Charlotte Flair. The discussion became heated at the end and she knocked out Charlotte Flair with a Twist of Fate.

There has been no confirmation on if she is going to get long term contract WWE but there is a fat chance. It is all may by booked just to promote the Royal Rumble pay per view event. She might get signed for one match or a couple except Royal Rumble, but there is a fat chance of her returning to full time action.
It has all been booked may be just too fill the time of Friday Night Smackdown since there is not enough option to book female wrestlers. Currently there is no one who could stand in front of Charlotte Flair as a challenger for her title. May be Lita was brought back just to fill the void of the time.
Lita who is a former four times WWE Women’s Champion recently spoke to Talking Smack where she expressed her desire to wrestle at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. He said;

“It was a blast. Honestly, I know it’s been forever since I’ve been on SmackDown but it felt like I was home. It was just nice to hear my music hit, get out there, and be in front of the fans again. A little nice precursor, a no-stress precursor to Royal Rumble where the pressure is on.”
“Alright, so this one means a lot to me because this is the easiest, although it is extremely difficult, way to guarantee yourself a title shot at WrestleMania. I just decided to make some goals for 2022 and it involves heading to WrestleMania, so I am going to stay low so I don’t get thrown over the top rope and take out as many people as I can.”
