She made her television debut on the same year in May, her first television appearance was also in a Battle Royal and she lost this match as well. But WWE was cooking a big plan for her. She started working under the ring name of Raquel Gonzales in February 2020 at NXT TakeOver: Portland where she helped Dakota Kai to pick up a victory over Tegan Nox in a Street Fight. This was the beginning of her ultimate big push. She formed an alliance with Dakota Kai from this event and together they were really successful as a team.

NXT Women’s Champion

Gonzalez kept on succeeding as in April 2021, she defeated Io Shirai (Iyo Sky) at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver to win her first and only NXT Women’s Championship. She retained the championship for more than 200 days and she had been one of the best NXT Women’s Champions ever. She has also been a two times NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.

She joined the main roster on 2022 during the SmackDown after WrestleMania 38 episode. She was renamed again as Raquel Rodriguez. This unnecessary renaming was criticized a lot by WWE.
