WWE Money in the Bank is one of the most anticipated events of WWE and it is the next PLE in the line which is scheduled for July 1. Qualifying matches for both men’s and women’s Money in the Bank will start from tonight’s RAW and it will continue on Friday at Smackdown.
WWE announced on Twitter that there will be multiple Money in the Bank qualifying matches on RAW tonight, “TONIGHT on #WWERaw: #MITB Qualifying Matches are set to begin! Who do you want to see in this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches? 8/7c on @USANetwork” they wrote on Twitter.
However, it is not confirmed who would be involved in these qualifying matches, neither there is any confirmation on if there will be qualifying matches for both men’s and women’s Money in the Bank matches. But it can definitely be expected that there will be qualifying matches tonight for ladder matches.
There are big rumours on who could potentially be in the ladder match. Cody Rhodes, who is one of the biggest RAW stars is rumoured to be a part of Money in the Bank ladder match. WRKD Wrestling wrote, “Nearly winning it ten years ago back in 2013, Cody Rhodes is expected to return as a competitor in the Money In The Bank match this year in London, England.”
Apart from Cody Rhodes, another RAW star is rumoured to be featuring in Money in the Bank according to WRKD Wrestling; “Damien Priest is another name currently planned for the upcoming Money in the Bank match. Priest has been mentioned in creative as a “potential main eventer” after putting on an incredibly well received match with Bad Bunny.” They wrote.
WWE has already announced two Money in the Bank qualifying matches for Smackdown, for both men’s and women’s matches. Former Million Dollar Champion LA Knight is scheduled to battle Montez Ford whereas Zelina Vega would be facing Lacey Evans in the other qualifying match.
There is no concrete rumour on who would potentially win these Money in the Bank ladder matches. But the earliest rumour about the men’s match suggest that LA Knight is one of the biggest favourites to win the match. There is no other strong rumours about either of the matches yet. Hopefully, Money in the Bank 2023 would turn out to be an excellent event.
