Once again WWE shocked the entire world of professional wrestling when they released one of their finest prospects, the Kiwi professional wrestler Toni Storm. The 26 year old was massively impressive since the very first day of joining the promotion.
Toni Storm was being treated as a main event star and she was having a feud with the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. It was feeling like she has a bright future with the promotion. But WWE came up with a terrible news, she was released by the promotion.
Smackdown – Which NXT Wrestler WWE Should Bring In To Fill The Void Of Toni Storm?
2021 has been a terrible year for WWE. They have released more than 70 wrestlers throughout the year and one more big name got listed in that tally. Some of the brightest property has been released by WWE throughout this year including the likes of Brawn Stroman and Bray Wyatt. One more huge profit got added into that list.
But who could feel the void that is left by Toni Storm? Already SmackDown looks quite weak comparing two their roster depth around two years ago. The only women who could main event SmackDown along with Charlotte Flair are Sasha Banks and Naomi. Others are mostly jobbers and some of them are still not ready yet. Bayley is still out injured.
The only way to fix this issue is to bring in some good talents from the NXT. WWE has already done this before, whenever they felt lack of depth in the main roster, they brought in some good prospects from the NXT. They have done it so many times before. Maybe this is the time again.
But which women could join Friday night Smackdown to replace Toni Storm? The first name that comes into the mind is the former NXT Women’s champion Raquel Gonzalez. The 6 feet tall female wrestler is not only capable of running any main roster show as a main event star, but she also has the potential to become the next Chyna of WWE. She could become the one of the biggest wrestlers of WWE in the near future.
Another big fit for the main roster is the fellow Kiwi professional wrestler of Toni Storm, Dakota Kai. She is one of the best heels in the recent years in the entire women’s division of WWE. She is an amazing performer who could be an excellent fit for the main roster any day.
One more thing we must talk about which wrestlers WWE should not bring in from the NXT right now. Most of them are not ready yet for the main roster and some might not be able to develop enough on the main roster. So we will talk about the faces of the NXT only.
We believe the WWE should not bring the any member of the Toxic Attraction yet. They are all of them, especially Mandy Rose could be excellent fits for the main roster but there are some of the biggest attractions of the NXT and WWE should not bring them to the main roster before they are ready to be replaced.
