Match 6 – Brock Lesnar defeated Cody Rhodes
It was the second of the so called triple main event of Night of Champions. They made this match a little unpredictable after they introduce the injury angle of Cody Rhodes, who sold his injury excellently from the very first minute of the match, or better say, from his entrance. This is why he is one of the best in the business today.
Fans expected it a one sided competition as Cody was injured and he would be wrestling with one single hand. But surprisingly, Cody dominated the early part of the match as he used his arm plaster as a weapon. He even hit to back two back Cross Rhodes finisher on The Beast Incarnate.

But when he attempted to hit the third Cross Rhodes, Lesnar turned it into a Kimura Lock and he had it locked in for quite a long time. The match was extremely entertaining from the very first minute as there were near falls after finishers of both stars.
After Cody kicked out of the first F5, Lesnar locked him in another Kimura Lock. This time Cody failed to break it. He passed out on the move and never tapped. This might have been the reason why they added the injury angle. Lesnar seriously needed this victory, but Cody did not afford to lose either. So the angle was justified.

Match 7 – WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns to retain
They kept this match as the main event of the night. Was it because it was bigger than the world heavyweight championship match? Was it because just Roman Reigns was involved in this match? Or was it because they had something really big planned at the end of the match like Royal Rumble?
Sami Zayn entered the ring in a traditional Arabian kurta which drove the home crowd totally crazy. Roman Reigns got a negative reaction from the home crowd which was pretty surprising as well. Before the start of the match, Sami spoke with the crowd and introduced themselves in Arabic which made the fans extremely happy.
Solo was presented as an unstoppable force in this match from the very beginning. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had to team up to take him down. The match had a very slow start but once it picked up speed, it was a completely different story. At the end of the match, Roman Reigns accidentally hit a Spear on the referee.
Just like every single Roman Reigns match, yes, EVERY SINGLE one, the referee just had to go down. Why can’t WWE just get some new idea? As the champions were taking control of the match, The Usos interfered and they started beating down the champions. But when they were about to hit a double Super Kick on Sami, they accidentally hit Solo Sikoa.
As Roman Reigns entered the ring and started taking out his frustration on Jey, Jimmy shocked the entire world when he hit a Super Kick on Roman Reigns. Everyone were left spellbound, including Jey who tried to stop his brother, but Jimmy hit another Super Kick on Roman.
Jey was still confused but Jimmy took him out of the ring and they stood on the stage. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn double teamed on Solo Sikoa net, Owens hit a Stunner on Solo first and then Sami pinned Solo with a Helluva Kick. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn celebrated with the Tag Team titles, The Usos stood on the entrance stage, Roman Reigns was still in shock as Night of Champions 2023 went off air.
