This is one of the most personal matches of WrestleMania XL and it is also the output of one of the longest buildups of this year’s WrestleMania. It all started at Summerslam 2023 when Jey Uso earned the opportunity to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. But Jimmy Uso betrayed Jey and cost him his opportunity to win the title.

The build up for this match started from that very day. They kept the two brothers away from each other by keeping them in two different brands. The match was protected for WWE WrestleMania XL. The buildup is pretty much similar to the father vs. son match between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio from last year’s WrestleMania.

WWE WrestleMania XL – Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso

There is not enough confusion among the fans while predicting the outcome of this match. Jey Uso had been the absolute favorite to win this match. Jey received stronger booking than Jimmy throughout this time period and previously, Jey had been treated as a main eventer as he even challenged Roman Reigns multiple times for the title. So Jey was definitely the favorite here.

This match had been protected since WresteMania XL and we finally witnessed it. This was definitely one of the personal affairs of this event. Jey Uso could not wait to get his hands on his twin brothers as he attacked Jimmy while he was making his entry. He was really dominating his brother at the beginning of the match.

It took around four minutes for Jimmy to get into this match. Finally, it was looking like anyone’s game. The match was pretty physical from the very first minute and it had a very fast build up. It was a classic babyface vs, heel match where the babyface was strong at first but the heel had been sneaky.

At a point, it looked like Jimmy might snatch the victory but Triple H as a booker prefers fairy tale endings more unlike Vince McMahon than reality. Jey pinned Jimmy with a Spear and a Frog Splash at WrestleMania XL. The match was weak, the fans definitely expected a better encounter from this duo.
