This match had a very long build up and finally these two athletes are heading into the same ring against each other at WrestleMania XL. Bayley won the Women’s Royal Rumble match to earn the opportunity to face a champion of her choice at the biggest and grandest stage of them all.

But the overall build up of the match had been pretty weak. Somehow, WWE neglected all of their ongoing storylines while building up the Universal title match. If this match was built up properly, it could have been one of the most anticipated matches of this event, something that it could never be.

The biggest prediction and possibly the biggest talking point about this match would be the potential return of the “Hugger” character of Bayley. She has turned babyface so her current character did not go very well with her either. Bayley also had been the bigger favorite of the match as well.

This match had been presented as the biggest match of women at WrestleMania XL. As we have already discussed, there had been a lot of speculations about the return of The Hugger gimmick of Bayley. But unfortunately, she is still the Role Model. But we are losing hope, maybe, The Hugger return on Smackdown after WrestleMania.

The match had a comparatively slow start, but slowly, it picked up pace. It had been an excellent match by the end. Both performers were on top of their games. Near falls made the match even more special. Bayley’s knee looked really hurt. But still, she had been really excellent.

The match was booked for around 14 minutes. Kudos to both women for finally engaging the mild Philadelphia crowd. Bayley kicked out of all of Sky’s finishers. But ultimately, Sky had to give up to the Rose Plant finisher of WWE. Congratulations to Bayley for finally returning to the main event level once again.
