WWE officials might be feeling a sigh of relief with the news that John Cena is coming home earlier than expected. Previously, the reports said that Cena will not available in the WWE for eight long months. His schedule indicated that he will join the promotion in the month of November for the Survivor Series PPV.

However, the TV ratings were going downwards on a constant basis forcing the official begging the franchise to be back on board, sooner than later. This might be the only reason that The Franchise player has been added to the upcoming events, abruptly.

Currently, John Cena is shooting The Pact movie which is an adult comedy eyeing for a release on this fall. He is expected to wrap up the schedule by this month’s end. Upon that, he will be joining Smackdown Live roster without any gap, whatsoever.

The 16-time world champion has posted on Twitter clarifying the exact date of his return. The July 4th edition of Smackdown Live will finally have the pleasure of having him back on the show and thereby wiping out the tensions of ratings.

Even prior to that, he is also scheduled to join the WWE roster for performing in the live events of China tour. From June 28th onwards, John Cena is listed for every Smackdown Live house shows. In case you don’t know, Chris Jericho is also being advertised to appear on the shows to be hosted in the East.

Upon coming back to the USA, WWE will make a tour to Phoenix, Arizona. So, the Talking Stick Resort Arena of the city which will host the July 4th episode of Smackdown will see the franchise player back on track. This is also the hometown for his fiancée, Nikki Bella, as well.

However, there are no clues whether the former Divas champion will accompany him, or not. She is still recovering from her neck issues which sidelined her ever since Wrestlemania.

In addition, Cagesideseats.com also stated that this time we can expect him to stay with the WWE for a long time. He will not leave until the end of the year. It can change anytime depending on the movie commitments, he has.
