The speculations of former Divas returning to the WWE are on for quite some time. Kelly Kelly is the front runner on the list ever since she appeared in the Las Vegas edition of Raw. She was not present in the main show and caught by the interviewer during the fallout show where she briefly hinted at her return to the WWE.
The return was not confirmed until Kelly appeared in an interview with E News reporter, Maria Menounos. In the interview segment, ‘Conversations with Maria Menounos’, she confirmed that she would be back in the WWE for one more stint.
She clarified that Wrestlemania XXXIII will mark her first official appearance in the WWE after four years. WWE is also intending to use her at the grandest stage of them all in a certain capacity. But, no further revelation was made by her.
The former Divas champion was also asked whether she will be doing wrestling once she gets back to the company. She gave a positive nod to it saying,
“I don’t know if I’m gonna be wrestling, per se, but I will be at ‘Mania. I will be at ‘Mania, I will be at Hall of Fame, and I’m gonna do some Axxess signings.”
The Senior Director of Talent Relations in WWE, Mark Carrano is the one who contacted the gorgeous Diva to re-sign with the company. It is quite evident that she should have an extended run during the post-Wrestlemania season. This was her further comment:
“I would come back for like a run, a mini-run or something.”
The Diva has made quite a fan base during her first run in the company and it is likely that she will be used for the Total Divas reality TV show. She has been part of the WAGS show for the past few years on the E Network, as well.
