WWE News: Bobby Lashley Wants To Attend Kurt Angle’s Hall Of Fame Ceremony 1

Bobby Lashley is a familiar name to the WWE universe who managed to earn respect from the WWE Universe during his stint in the company in the last decade. He was the one who battled on behalf of Donald Trump in a match at Wrestlemania 23. Upon leaving the roster of the WWE, he found, even more, success in the TNA wrestling promotion.

He followed Kurt Angle’s way who also did the same after leaving WWE. They were treated in WWE’s adversary promotion as the top guys and thus became a multi-time world champion, there.

Working on the same promotion for a long time certainly left tremendous respect for each other. So, the current Impact wrestling world champion recently spoke his mind that he wants to be present on the monumental occasion of Kurt Angle’s life when he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st night.

While speaking to SI.com, Lashley spoke that Angle is the one behind his success in his career. So, he wants to be by his side on this glorious occasion. These were his comments:

“Hopefully I can get some tickets to the Hall of Fame,” said Lashley. “I want to be there to support Kurt and congratulate him. Kurt got me into the wrestling business. He saw me at the Olympic training center when he was doing a vignette, and he said, ‘Man, you’ve got a great look.

You might want to really consider pro wrestling.’ It’s magic when Kurt is out there. If Kurt wasn’t in the Hall of Fame, then there was something wrong with the Hall of Fame. Kurt is a star, and I’m extremely happy for him.”

There’re still some speculations whether WWE lets him attend the promotion considering he is under contract with Impact Wrestling promotion. But, there should not be any legal ban to him since anyone from Angle’s family and friends would be allowed to join him on that evening.
