Kerala Blasters striker Iain Hume has re-joined Tranmere Rovers on a six-month contract, the League Two side have confirmed.
The 31-year-old Canadian starred for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters, who were the finalists in the inaugural season of the league.
Hume notched 5 goals and 3 assists in 16 games for the Sachin Tendulkar owned franchise, being awarded the ‘Hero of the League’ for his performances.
He now rejoins his boyhood club on a short term basis, subject to international clearance.

Rovers manager Micky Adams meanwhile was delighted to have the former Leicester City and Barnsley striker in his ranks. He said,“I’m delighted Iain has agreed to joins us.
“He had a number of options with other clubs but his passion for Tranmere was clear to see when I met him.
“He can score goals, he can open up defences and create chances for others and he’s a handful for defenders.
“He’ll increase the competition for places up front and add to our attacking options for the second half of the season.”
The Scotland born attacker made his debut for the SuperWhites as a 16-year-old, appearing 176 times scoring 37 goals. A Canada International, Hume represented his nation on 41 occasions, netting 6 goals.
He becomes the third arrival at Prenton Park after Rovers also signing Adam Dugdale and Josh Thompson.
