WWE News: Alberto Del Rio And Paige’s Father Blast Each Other On Twitter 1

Alberto Del Rio and Paige have been in a relationship since last year’s summer. They are deeply in love with each other since then, as seen on the Total Divas show. On an independent wrestling show, these two got engaged in front of the live audience.

They even announced some time earlier that a marriage is one on the card. But, one person has always been against this relationship and that is none other than Paige’s father, Ricky Knight. On numerous occasions, he expressed his dislike to the Mexican Aristocrat.

He did not like the relationship, at all since he is well-aware of the ‘bad boy’ image of Del Rio. Furthermore, there’s a huge age difference between Paige and Del Rio, the former Divas champion is 24, whereas, her beau is 38 years old. Ricky seemed much concerned about this.

In last year’s October, Paige’s father posted his decision about the future of the couple when these two decide to get married in the near future. These were his comments on Facebook.“

“Putting this out there, then saying no more about it to anyone. I am totally against my daughter marrying that man. Statement over.”

The real-life rivalry was resumed with a twitter war, recently. The topic came up with a fan asking about the upcoming fight between Del Rio and Ricky Knight at the World Association of Wrestling (WAW) event in England.

In case you don’t know, this is the promotion run by Paige’s father and mother, Ricky and Saraya Knight in Norwich, England.

There will be an event on May 13th where Del Rio and Ricky will go toe-to-toe to claim the prime championship in the promotion. The event will be hosted at the EPIC Center in Paige’s homeland of Norwich, England.

Now, it’s clear indication that they are playing a kayfabe story. They have reached on good terms in recent time which earned Del Rio a championship opportunity at Ricky Knight’s promotion.

Paige’s father is 63-year old and there’s no way that he is going to win this bout. Before that, they are going all out to promote the night.
