WWE News: Jack Swagger Reveals The Real Reason Behind Leaving The WWE 1

Jack Swagger signed a contract with WWE in the year 2006. He debuted in the same year on the main roster and performed in the company until this year.

He was underutilised on the flagship show of Raw. Hence, one last try was given by bringing him on the land of opportunity, Smackdown Live.

But, he was unable to bring no reactions whatsoever on his debuting night. This decided his career for good. Although he featured in a short feud with Baron Corbin, that was held at the house shows only and not on the WWE television. Earlier this year, WWE released a statement that they have officially released Jack Swagger.

Ever since then, the former world champion has started performing on the independent scenes to prove his worth. Recently, he appeared in an interview with the Main Event Radio where he opened up about the sudden exit from the WWE and his future plans.

The Real-American proclaimed that he has converted into a complete family man following the leave and looking to explore more opportunities outside the WWE. Speaking of the main reason for leaving the company, he stated that money was the main reason behind it. Check out his exact comments:

“I had been with the company for 10 years. I’m very fortunate for the career that I had. What it really was is a business decision. I valued myself at a certain price, they valued it at another.”

The 35-year-old superstar also mentioned his contemporaries like Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre who left the WWE to make a name for themselves in the independent wrestling circuits. He is looking forward to grabbing one of his own in the near future. He accepted that these are his inspirations who motivated him not to renewing his contract with the WWE.

At this time, Jack Swagger is said to join his former WWE mentor, Zeb Colter with whom he formed an alliance to officially known as the Real American. Zeb aka Dutch Mantel is on a managerial role in the Impact Wrestling promotion and the authorities on the scene are keen to hire him and reform them as a unit.

This might happen after he is over with the no-compete clause with the WWE, soon.
