On Sunday evening, Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) qualified for the playoffs after beating Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Pune.
RPS elected to field first after winning the toss. KXIP batsmen failed to put any fight against the RPS bowlers, as they were bundled out for just 73 runs (15.5 overs).
In reply, RPS chased down the target in 12 overs after losing the only wicket. RPS won this match by nine wickets with 48 balls remaining.
