AJ Styles has been the mainstay on Smackdown Live ever since the brand spilt happened, last year. He is the guy who literally carried the brand on his shoulder since the beginning. This is the reason why he does not back down from saying “Smackdown Live is the house which AJ Styles built”.
On the other hand, Charlotte Flair is the new inclusion of the brand following the WWE Superstars Shakeup, last month. She is going to be the face of the division as per the creative planning. It is just a matter of time that the Queen will pick up the championship belt around her waist.
Now, as part of WWE’s schedule, the superstars have to travel around different cities on a continuous basis. They basically have to stay on the road for the entire part of the year. It gets increased when a certain superstar appears to be a marquee one for the brand. So, certainly, both Styles and Charlotte fall under the same category.
From the social media posts of the two of them, it was clear that they were really getting along from the get go, Recently, they were involved in funny banter there.
Charlotte posted a photo of Styles quoting, “Soccer Mom, Don’t be mad” in reference to his hair. In reply, the Phenomenal One stated that he is going to cut his hair, as soon as possible. But, later the Queen praised even the haircut of Styles appears to be phenomenal.

Also, Styles clicked of a picture of Charlotte taking a nap on the road while travelling. He wanted to point out how the Queen needs to get into sleep quoting this a “beauty sleep”.
But, the former WWE champion fell into the same trap later when he himself was sleeping. This time Charlotte mocked him stating “Phenomenal sleeper” while taking a picture of him.
This is not the first time that these two were getting into jokes. This is good for the superstars on the roster since it causes less stress being on the road for almost the entire year. Both of them will be involved in marquee matches at the upcoming Smackdown-exclusive PPV, Backlash on May 21st.
