WWE News: Randy Orton Took A Shot At The Indie Wrestlers On Twitter 1

The internet went into a frenzy over Randy Orton reacting in a bad way to a tweet posted by Bubba Rey Dudley. The former WWE superstar currently works in the indie scenes and Ring of Honour promotion with the name of Bully Rey.
Last year, prior to the brand split, he left WWE with his tag team partner, D-Von Dudley bidding adieu to the WWE Universe. D-Von is not performing anywhere whereas Bubba is fully enjoying his singles run.

So, he posted a picture of himself diving into his opponents while competing in an indie show. He captioned the image as ‘Dive’ which was brought into the notice of Randy Orton.

He went on a rant saying that there’s a difference between a young talent flying high to that of an older guy claiming to jump. He basically went to indicate that Bubba simply could not jump off the top rope with his heavyweight body.
The message was not taken well by the indie show performers since Orton previously mocked the performers with the following quotes:

“Every Indy match now: handshake, drawn out move exchange, ‘this is awesome’ chant, strike exchange, dive no sell Indy strong style, dive, more strikes, no sells, dive, flippy floppy sequence, dive, hit everyone with each other’s finisher then Humpty Dumpty we all fall down.

Fight forever chant, rinse and repeat until every move is useless and means nothing, dive, take an unsafe shot that looks like shit and hurts like hell then rolls up finish.
Handshake and hug after the match. Everyone’s hands raised. All these guys chant. Go home and type on social media thanking your opponents and company for the match and telling others they should book these guys. ……………dive.”

Some consider it to belittle the wrestlers who are from the independent scene and never tasted the success of the WWE. So, various big names from the scene took a shot to the WWE champion calling him a failure.

The Indie star, Low Ki also stated that The Viper is protected by the WWE. He did not have the guts to come out of the promotion and earn fame by competing outside. He might not be the talented guy he thinks of himself.

Randy Orton quickly realised that he might have done a big blunder and so came up with an apology. Although, it was definitely a sarcastic reply where he pointed out how much successful he is in his career, so far. The controversy might not have ended with this apology with The Viper clearly boasting. Stay tuned for any further updates on the matter.
