There are some serious uncertainties over the career of Paige, Summer Rae and Eva Marie in the WWE Women’s division. The first two belong to the Raw roster, whereas, the latter one belongs to the Smackdown roster. Also, it is to be noted that all of these three women are part of the reality TV series, Total Divas on the E Network.
Recently, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has given some major updates on the career of these three women in the WWE. When it came to Paige, the source revealed that Paige will continue to be a part of the WWE despite all the recent controversies.
It is mainly due to the upcoming movie based on Paige’s life. The Rock is producing it and will need her at the time of the global release of the film. So, it is basically The Great One who is saving Paige’s career, at this time. WWE does intend to go into a conflict with Paige, either, for now.
However, it was also revealed that although Paige will stay within the company, we can least expect to witness her on live television. She is not expected to return due to her neck injury. She is yet to be cleared by the doctors to make a comeback to the squared circle.
In addition, due to the bad blood between her and the company, she will not probably star in the next season of Total Divas, as well. Despite being one of the most popular and controversial figures, WWE will continue to keep her out of the show.
As for Summer Rae, the WWE doctors have cleared her to get back into actions. However, the creative does not have any proper storylines for her at this time which means she will have to be sidelined from appearing on WWE Raw, for some more times. If utilised properly, Summer Rae can be used to keep the variation ongoing on the Raw women’s division.
In the case of Eva Marie, the source confirmed that she is done with her wrestling career after getting in hot water with WWE during last year’s Summerslam. She has completely turned her focus to Hollywood and does not intend to return to the company, anytime soon.
