Tuesday’s episode will be the first one following the so successful Backlash PPV, this past Sunday.
Although, coming from a PPV, the show runners have minimal time in hand in order to start the build up for the upcoming one. In four weeks from now, we will witness the next Smackdown-exclusive PPV, Money in the Bank in St’ Louis, Missouri.
So, starting from tonight’s episode we will learn how things are going to shape up. In order to do that, WWE.com had some major announcements for Smackdown Live episode. The show will be hosted at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.
The Era of the Maharaja will begin from tonight following Jinder Mahal’s win at the backlash PPV. It was expected that a championship coronation must be waiting for him. So, WWE announced that we will witness a championship celebration for the Maharaja in a Punjabi style.
“WWE.com has learned that Mahal is planning to throw a massive Punjabi Celebration on SmackDown LIVE. Exactly what that entails remains to be seen, but you can be sure that Mahal will spare no expense in celebrating his historic achievement.”
While this would be seemingly a big attraction especially for the Indian fans, there will be a huge tag team match among the women’s division.
Charlotte and Becky Lynch will team up against the team of Carmella and Natalya. It will be interesting to see if the babyfaces could teach the Welcoming Committee who have taken the women’s division by storm.

Plus, this would also mark the first time since December 2015 that the former two members of the NXT four horsewomen would team up together keeping aside the bad blood between them. It is yet to see if they can get along well.

WWE.com has learned that SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon will be making a major announcement regarding Money in the Bank, tonight.”
